btw yk what I HATE. I hate the fucked up timings of Durga Poojoo this year. Last year I couldn't give the pushapanjoli becuase I was on my periods, I was terribly sad and when I found out it started on saptami at 3 in the night, i literally went out into the dining room and started crying, Giving the pushpanaji is the highlight of a Duga Pujo

Guess what's happening this year, becuase of how fucked up the timings of the durga pujo are, the pandal neared to us, and the only one we can go to for some reason isn't even doing Ashtami pushpanjali. It's straight up going to Navami pushpanjali.

We, meaning me and my mom were supposed to go see Maa today, yeah belive it or not, i haven't seen maa this pujo yet, not even once, I was very excited we were going to go at 4pm, then my mom called me into the room and told me about the pushpanajali thing, I said fine, that's ok but we're still going to see maa ONCE, ONCE pbefore we give the pushpanjali right? And she started shouting at me that I keep suffocating her with the requests and that it was not in her power to take us to the pandal because my dad isn't here.

She has been slacking off and saying no to things an moment pe for the entire time my dad hasn't been here, she keeps saying "w e'll do it when your dad comes back, we'll do that when he's here again" I can understand is certain cases, but every time? so this guy, he has a fear of spiders. can look at them fine, but cant stand to be near one. he got an apartment and a cat to hunt the spiders. and things were okay for a while, but then this giant spider showed up one day in his kitchen. what he normally did was leave the cat (major tom) in the room with the spider and leave, and this time was no different. after about an hour when he went to check on it, the spider was still there. so he .stood there for like an hour then threw a mug of cold coffee at it. but the spider was definitely dead

about a week later it showed up again, on his tv. the same spider. he called for major tom but he didnt repond. he kicked the tv. completely destroyed it but it got rid of the spider.

he stopped going to work. two weeks later its above his bed. and thats where he recognized it. the source of his phobia.

he accidently broke up a spider egg sack as a child, and killed the spider that laid them. the baby spiders got everywhere, but the spider was the exact same one that had been tormenting him

Have you thought about how uu!Ken's escape relied on someone he trusted being outside the prison, and that that was equally as difficult as getting other people out, because everyone he trusted was inside the prison. Why would he even want to escape when everyone he knows is in the prison? Sure the Proton isn't limitless, but it's a lot more freedom than the area bans their escape seems to be heading to.

How much does it pain Ken to see their prison being broken apart by people who have no idea what they are doing? Seeing emeralds acquired that weren't supposed to be there, having controls broken while people are fighting. Sure, it's a step closer to freedom, but this is still Ken's prison and it's supposed to be impossible to break out.

when it comes to sets id say her best would be ashblazing, either full 4pc or 2pc with either firesmith for fire dmg bonus or musketeer/prisoner for more atk, you mostly wanna focus on her follow up attacks and triggering those. ornament id go for would b inert salsotto to boost those follow up attacks even more

for stats id build her as a regular dps focusing on atk and crit, but with some bonus speed and maybe a bit of ehr in the substats since applying burn on enemies boosts her dmg a bit, but its not that important because of her bonus ability tbh

so basically crit body, atk boots (or speed if youre going for more sub dps or can sacrifice some atk), fire dmg orb, atk rope

reading her kit makes me realize she does a lot btw. damn. i want her even more now.

for trace priority id go ult>skill>talent>basic atk, id put her talent higher but her skill is definetly gonna be used more than talent so yea good to have it high lvl

when it comes to team comps shes great with anyone that also deals fire dmg since she boosts that + gets a boost when hitting burnt enemies, having a healer is probably better than shielder for her since she also does more dmg when above 80%hp, tho if ur shield is unbreakable it works too lmao, add some support on top of that and ur set i guess! as long as you have a way to break weakness she should be good :3

Naming things and people is a fun little brain-bending exercise that involves typing many things into Google Translate, cursing when I find out that an affectionate nickname translates to 'goalkeeper' in some other language, and then looking up translations and meanings of words to see if I can merge and twist bits of them into a name.

An example of that would be the name that was given to David: Dar’veh Ehr-maah Nu’hazin

'Dar'veh' was as close as I could get to 'David' without it sounding quite like the word. The other two parts of its name were a merging of three Arabic words (whether they're the correct translation doesn't matter; I only want an idea of a word to springboard from), followed by twisting their spelling and adding apostrophes and hyphens so I'm not completely messing up someone's mother tongue (which is the biggest fear of any writer trying to invent another language). The bits that I took to form the name are highlighted red:

ager = eumar (I used the whole word; just twisted its spelling)

copper = nuhas

verdigris = zinjar

Yep, we're going to get some S1 dragon fight lore, and it's going to be absolutely crucial to the story, which is why I can't go into too much detail. Pix's comment when the fight happened really came a bit out of the blue. The only way that it made sense was if he couldn't get back home any other way than dying in the void, because the dragon was guarding the portal out. I wanted to give it a reason that made sense for my story.

Saturn, since she's a cleric, is quite good at sitting still but only when praying or ordered to do so, if she isnt like- doing somethign that demands her to be still she is incapable of standing or sitting still. shes almost always just swinging her feet, dancing a little or like fidgeting

How easy is it for your character to laugh? Saturn laughs WAY more easily than how easily she should, even during prayer if she thinks of smth funny she will actually just start snickering and then jsut burst out laughing, even if it got her in trouble.

How do they put themselves to bed at night (reading, singing, thinking?) NGL, Saturn just stares up at the sky or cieling until she gives into sleep, she rarely actually does anythign to put herself to sleep, but after meeting Shadownheart and starting a little smth w her she runs her fingers through Shart's hair until they both fall asleep

How easy is it to earn their trust? She's rather trusting as long as you're not a Sharran, she is willing to help and is rather open to any that will hear her and that seem to her like good people

How easy is it to earn their mistrust? It isnt thatv easy for her to stop trusting you, but If you speak ill of her Lady Selune, she will slowly lose trust of you, as well as speaking ill of others she has an attachment to.

Do they consider laws flexible, or immovable? They consider certain laws to be flexible, but they like following them to avoid any trouble for herself or their partners

What triggers nostalgia for them, most often? Do they enjoy that feeling? They dont quite like feeling nostalgic, as she doesnt quite have any memories to be nostalgic of. most of her life was spent in a temple being trained to be a good little cleric of Selune, so memories of prayer, her dreams and just ehr life in the temple are rather trivial to her

What were they told to stop/start doing most often as a child Saturn strived to be the perfect child, so whenever she was told to stop or start doing somthing she immediately tried to correct it, especially if it pertained to her training as a cleric and eventually a High Priestess of Lady Selune.

Do they swear? Do they remember their first swear word? Saturn first swore after getting on the Nautiloid, and was rather apalled at her usage of such language as she was constanly reprimanded if she was to speak that way. She's sworn ever since, adn her first words were "Holy Fucking Shit"

Gina hadn’t heard anything from Elijah since her awkward next . She wasn’t even sure about today but to her surprise she’d woken up to a missed call from him. 

Confirming noon that day at the archives. 

She had bounced out of bed and stormed to her closet. It was fall so she wanted to look cute, not date cute, but cute. 

She opted for a pink turtle neck that skimmed her body and jeans, long black boots that hit her thigh with a black peacoat. 

When she walked down stairs into the kitchen she couldn’t help but notice her sister and mother started laughing softly.

“I thought you said it wasn't a date?” Sophia teased her, her voice loud and playful. She sat on a barstool by the large kitchen island. She was dead center in the kitchen allowing her to twist slightly and floor Gina around the room teasing her verbally. 

“I wear this to school.” The defensiveness in Gina’s tone didn't go unnoticed by the women. Her mother grinned. She ducked into the fridge for coffee creamer and to hide her embarrassment. Had she dont too much? Would it bother him? Would he tease her? She didn’t think so but she was starting to become comfortable with him. Even if he hadn’t been chatting when she’d reached out last time. 

To be fair, Klaus had texted her that day and told her to let it go. Elijah was in business and could be dull and detail oriented at times. 

“It looks nice, you could even go on a coffee date after wearing that.” Her mother added. Gina poured the coffee and scowled at her mom. 

“It's not a date.” She sang as she raised the mug to her lips. She wasn’t opposed if it was, she just didn’t want to like him more and have it play out where she developed feelings and he moved on, or worse, put her in the friendzone. 

“Yes it is.” They teased her singing back. She laughed.

“Hey, I have a question, some people have brought it up over the last few weeks, but…” Gina hesitated. The women were hanging on her every word over the shared counter space. She hated asking this, thinking it silly but it wouldn’t get off her mind….

“You gonna ask out loud anytime soon baby girl?” Her mom rubbed her back. 

“ When you got the reading done and wanted to move ehr for a soulmate….who’s soulmate was it? Did she say who was supposed to find this person?” Gina watched her moms face blank. She knew what that meant. She hadn’t asked, just presumed. She moved them here, sold the old family home that he’d been in the family for fifty years and didn’t know who was supposed to fall in love.

She loved her mom with all her heart. Sometimes the blonde haired bohemian artist was a bit reckless. 

“There I texted her, maybe she remembers.” A sly smile played on her sister's face. “Do you want it to be you and this Mr. Mikaelson?” She asked, grinning. 

Gina’s blush betrayed her, causing the other two to gather around and hug her. 

“I barely know him, let's not get ahead of ourselves.”

“Oh, it's a date.” Gina felt the crimson flush under her cheeks and nose as she approached him. The door had been unlocked so she’d let herself in expecting it to be open to the public. She approached, her heels clicking on the white tiles and she quickly realized it was just the two of them. They were alone in a private library or sorts.

He’d come to a standing position in the middle of the room where a large table had been waiting for her with an open book obviously marked with ribbons in certain places. He even set up two tumblers with what she presumed was warm liquid and had bought pastries. 

“Hello Gina, how are you?” He’d come around the table to help her take her coat off and place it on her chair, which was only three inches from his. He’d positioned her close by intentionally. She wanted to brush it off that it was just easier for them to look at the same page but….that proximity on the same side of the table suggests him leaning into her space. 

She didn’t hate the thought. She really liked him but she couldn’t explain why. She knew Caroline, Elena and even Bonnie much better then she knew him. She spoke or texted with them daily. 

He was a bit of a mystery to her and part of his mystery was his fascination to be physically close to her. 

She was pretty but not a model like her sister, even if it was on instagram. 

She got settled next to him and glanced briefly over every book and open paged he’d bookmarked for her. He had been here for hours already from the looks of it. 

He had set this up for her. She smiled at him and let herself lean in a bit more obvious than she’d been before. 

There were dozens of entries from people's donated journals to the Mystic falls archives, a newspaper guest list detailing parties around the town from 1929-1930. Gina Bouchard popped up everywhere. This was proof her family had settled temporarily for a year. They had been doing a business deal that had lasted just long enough to stay apparently. 

What had perturbed Gina highly, was the fact that Elijah’s grandfather and Gina Bouchard had been an item. An exact carbon copy of the two young people sitting at the table in the archive. Could be the same people as far as Gina could tell. She shook her head. 

She’d never given soulmates or reincarnation much thought before but, this was hard to explain. 

“Why didn’t my grandma ever write about this?” She searched Elijah’s face. He went still, his face blank and unreadable. His eyes however gave him away. They were distanced, pained. Why? 

It had taken several minutes for him to explain. She could hear the fluorescent lights cracking above them straining to work. She could hear herself breathing. 

“According to a journal I have at our family home, they had a conversation about the supernatural and Gina distanced herself very quickly from the Mikaelson, even going as far as New York City and marrying a banker she’d only known for three months.” He scoffed and looked down at one of the books closing it abruptly.

She pulled back slightly to look at him. He was taking that knowledge like it had been a personal affront to him. Not an ancestor. 

“Wait, I knew she got married but….my family believes in witchcraft. Even in the 1930’s Elijah. What would have spooked her that badly?” She knew her grandmother had been a highly sought after witch next to the Bennets and Laveau’s in New Orleans respectively. 

“Let me ask you this, do you believe in supernatural Gina?” His gaze hammered her to her seat. His question held a weight she didn’t even understand as if this was truly the heart of her questions. 

She confessed she believed in ghosts and demons but not vampires and werewolves and things of that ilk because she's never met one. 

His dry chuckle startled her. 

“Why did you laugh? Are you a vampire?” She pressed. She doubted it but there was a reason he was asking, she could tell he believed in it or he wouldn’t keep pressing her about the topic. 

“Oh yes, I’m up at all hours, do most of my business at night and I drink a lot of red liquid.” Hes teasing her  gently but something urged her to mutter a truth spell under her lips. He’d caught it because he shot her a stern look of annoyance. 

He was telling the truth. 

“Wine doesn’t make one a vampire.You really believe in vampires, werewolves and such?” She had tested the truth, her hand tingles and she knew he at least believed in them, not that he was necessarily confessing. 

“I believe their existence is possible, Does that go against being a learned man?” He challenged. She sat back and thought for a few long minutes. Did it matter now an days if he believed in those things, no it truly didn’t. There was plenty she couldn’t explain in the world so what was the harm in him believing in it? 

“Where's your curiosity Gina, your whimsy, soon enough you’ll see what mystic falls is…i hope it doesn't frighten you off again.” That made her sit up and lean in. She was inches from his face. He wholeheartedly said that with so much intention she couldn’t ignore it this time. 

He looked smug at her reaction. 

‘Again? Now you believe in reincarnation?” She asked, a raised tilt in her voice showing her concern. She understood where this was going now.

He masterfully produced a photo from the breast pocket of his jacket and handed it to her. It was her grandmother posing for the photo on a satin clad bed naked as the day she was born. Gina blushed furiously. She’d never thought of her grandma like that before. This was a woman who trusted the photographer because it would have ruined her and her family for that to be floating about anywhere. 

Gina took a few deep breaths and looked around the room. It was swimming. She closed her eyes and willed herself to stop freaking out. This wasn’t helping. 

  “Yes, I do.“ He answered resolutely. She felt his hand cup her face causing her eyes to shoot open. His touch was electric on her skin. He’d only touched her clothed body a few nights ago, this was something else entirely. 

“Just breathe Gina.” She muttered under her breath. He removed his hand slightly much to both of their apparent disappointment. 

“So say I did believe in this nonsense.” She countered regaining herself. God, if he touched her again she’d claim his mouth with hers. Her stomach was tight and heat flushed low and hot by her thighs. She hoped he couldn’t tell. 

She looked up. He was still sitting there like a perfect gentleman as her heart raced like a hummingbird's wings desperate to stay alive. 

“You see but you refuse to allow yourself to see. Why do you think you are drawn to this town, to certain tastes and likes, dislikes, to me?” He countered boldly. She could tell he meant business. He wasn’t backing down. 

If she was a version of her grandmother, she’d evolved by now because she had no doubt another similar conversation had taken place or she’d seen something and it had caused her to fear deep enough to leave the town and the whole state for that matter. 

She raises an eyebrow. “That’s presumptuous…” she couldn’t understand why she was still fighting it but there was a sliver of doubt she still clung too fiercely. 

She didn’t want to be the fool.

“Is it,Nikolaus and I talk my darling. He even still converses with Caroline who he used to date..I know you find me interesting and attractive. Is that enough for you to trust me, at least initially, get to know me?” He was putting himself out there, as he had the whole conversation. 

Was it? Could she nod her head and try….She was extremely  uncomfortable but something inside told her to trust her gut. That he was safe at least to her. 

“I hadn’t meant to make you uncomfortable my dear, simply see how open minded you are.” He closed all the books and stood, mistaking her silence for an answer to his own questions. Her hand shot out, preventing him from further cleaning up and ending the date. 

“I want to know you, I don't really understand why but I do, will you let me?” She asked gingerly. Putting herself out there as Sophia would say. Oh, if he rejected her….

“Yes.” He said firmly and with no hesitation.
